Chapter / Part II

After trying to do the powerful spell they decided to just enchant Chihiro's parents.

After making them think she was going on a school camping field trip and casting spells on some school staff not call her home to ask why she wasn't attending school, she was ready to make her grand escape. Chihiro was picked up in the park, Kohaku in his dragon form. "I thought you had lost your dragon form.." she said. "I thought I did too. But that only signified that I was free," he smiled. Chihiro nodded and got upon his back. Before she knew it she was many feet above the world. "We're going to enter the spirit world," he said. "Be careful... I'm going to lower now," Haku said descending in the air. Chihiro nodded and held on tightly to him. She felt the immediate sense of welcome as she entered the other world. Eventually they arrived infront of the bathhouse in which Yubaba owned and operated.

The sight shocked Chihiro. The beautiful bathhouse which was colourful, and filled with pride, cleanliness, and relaxtion was now... A place of fear- and horror. The bathhouse was now charred to look as if it had been put in a barbeque and left in the fire, like a discarded mashmallow. "Yes..The fire spirit is ruining it. Burning it to the last grain of rice," Haku said in a grim voice. "Haku?" asked Chihiro. "Yes, Chihiro?" the dragon asked. "I don't know if I can do it.." she said. "Chihiro.. I know you can do it. Everyone is depending on you... Please Chihiro. Pull through this," he said comfortingly. "Alright..." she said gulping down a terrified squeal.

Suddenly there was loud roar and a flame coming from the chimney of the bathhouse. Chihiro breathed in and out. "Okay...Let's go," she said. When she didn't hear Kohaku's steps behind her she looked behind her. Haku was just morphing back into himself. After he ran, catching up. "Great," he smiled and they entered the bathhouse. When she entered the bathhouse she saw many of the staff hiding. "What's wr-" Chihiro started but was cut off by the roar of the fire spirit. Before she knew it, Haku and Chihiro were in the way of what looked like a lion...aflame. It opened it jaw looking as if it were yawning. But what came from it's throat was not a foul oder... but a loud roar that came out. It then padded towards the two creatures infront of it: Chihiro and Kohaku. Chihiro gulped. "H-Hey...What's up?" she asked nervously. "Is it just me or it really hot in here?" she asked laughing as if the situation was funny.

"YOU," the fire spirit said in a deep voice. The voice was directed at Chihiro. "DOUSE ME," he seemed to beg. "With w-wa-water?" she asked. "No. I need spirit water to douse me out, and by a human!" he said frustrated. Chihiro nodded. "I know the river spir-" but the lion silenced her with an angered expression upon his face. "No. You don't understand me, human. The river spirit is free. It can and could be anywhere in our watery depths," he explained. "You must sail the three vast seas to see where you can cature it... And with his water, you must douse me. I must be set free," he said. "Or My flame will become fiercer. Only the pure of a human hero would find the river spirit and douse my cursed hatred. You must set me free," he said. "For my flame will always burn, until one hero will be brave enough to set my soul free. I am cursed from my evil hatred. For I have learned a valubale lesson. Don't let evil and dark loom in your heart. Rid of it or you too, will be incased in hate and you become a wretch," he said sorrowfully.

Chihiro was now scared out of her wits. "Haku..." she whispered. "I need to sail three vast seas?" she asked. "YES YOU DO!" the fire spirit raged. But soon sighed, "I mean-- yes. You must. Chihiro, you're my last hope. I don't want to ruin the bathhouse...the world. If I keep on growing at the flaming rate I am, I could murder the spirit world..." he said a single flame falling from his face- a flaming tear. Many of the creatures of the bathhouse started to come out of their places. But the rage and hate of the fire spirit made him furiated. "What are you looking at?!" he hissed. All the staff and residents went back to their hiding places. Whispers could be auidibly heard. But the fire spirit only looked at Chihiro in the eyes.

Haku nodded in accpetion and the two headed out of the bath house. "How are we supposed to sail the three seas though?" she asked. "A boat," Haku said simply. "Where are we getting a boat?" Chihiro asked. The curious brown-haired girl was always somehow oblivious to the answer of any of these questions. "Yubaba isn't poor, you know..." he said walking infront of her, leading the way.
Author: Cassie [ confuzzling ]
Genre: Fantasy / Fan Novel
Title: Spirited Away 2.
Series: From the original Movie.
Warning: No more than PG13.
Credits / Acknowledgements: Thanks Hayo Miyazaki for your wonderful inspiration... Thank you Deviants who made art that encouraged me to write the following events in my story. "SPIDERMAN 3" actually encouraged me. If you find any resemblance...tell me. ^^ I'm sure you're trying to find it now. It's pretty apparent.

Notes: I'm sorta just going with it. This story might not turn out... I'll try. This is my first submission and my writing isn't all too pretty. But feel free to lurk if you must. Also, because I mentioned the Three Vast Seas I'm still contemplating wether to make the other two seas stories in a different book. But then the plot wouldn't be solved. Either way... I hope I can get this story to work.
